Hit Engine does not set tracking cookies, and we do not use any third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

What we store in your browser today

The only thing this site stores locally right now is a single flag, set in your browser’s localStorage — not a cookie, and never sent to a server — after you confirm you are 18 or over on your first visit. It has no expiry: it stays on your device until you clear your browser storage, and nothing about it is transmitted to us or to anyone else.

What we plan to add

Once Hit Engine’s prize draws are live, we plan to use a second, similarly scoped browser-storage flag to remember which entries you have already submitted, so you are not shown the entry form again for the same bet. Like the age flag, it would stay on your device and would not be a tracking cookie.

Nothing else

We do not use cookies or browser storage to track you across visits, build an advertising profile, or share your browsing activity with anyone else.
